What a great route in and out of school and well run by so many! The Student Council visited Brian House Children's hospice on Thursday and got a tour of the house to see the fantastic facilities and services that are offered to poorly children and their families. Brian House is funded solely from donations and we are proud that the CTK community has supported this wonderful charity this year by hosting our very own whole school Elf Run!
We have raised so far, a huge £554.97 for Brian House. Well done to all those that took part in the event and a special well done to all those that dressed up! There is still time to bring in any sponsor forms and donations. The prize for the most sponsors raised will be given in assembly next week. Thank you again for all your support.
Chloe from Trinity wanted to share her thoughts about the student council visit “I just wanted to email and say a big thank you to the staff and children at Christ the King for coming along to Brian House today to have a look round and meet some of our children and staff. We hope all the children learnt something new from the trip and understand just how appreciative we are of their support with the Elf Run this year – we couldn’t run the hospice without the generous support of the local community! The children were an absolute credit to Christ the King Catholic Academy and it was a pleasure to show them around.”
